From tomorrow, a return to stable and pleasantly warm summer weather is expected.

The weekend deterioration, as forecasted, brought a significant change in the weather, which, in addition to a drop in air temperature of more than 10 degrees, drenched this area with heavy rainfall. 

This is also shown by data on accumulated rainfall from automatic weather stations, which measured an average of 30 liters in the south up to 120 liters in Drniš by this morning. In Vodice and in Prvić Šepurina, the same amount of rain was measured at 70 liters per square meter, which is significantly more than the August record for this area, which had been 42 liters of rain so far. The shallow cyclonic field over the Adriatic is filling up, while at the same time a ridge of the anticyclone strengthening towards it will ensure the stabilization of the weather and the return of summer in the coming days. 

After last night and this morning, our area was hit by a storm that is moving from north to south in a northwest stream. Unstable and changeable weather will prevail for most of the day, but by evening and night, with the strengthening of the bura (wind), the clouds will disperse leading to mostly clear skies. For the rest of the week, a field of moderate and slightly elevated pressure will ensure stable weather with partly to mostly sunny skies. 

With light to moderate winds from the west and northwest, we will have pleasant temperatures for this time of year, ranging from a cool 15°C tomorrow, 20°C from Wednesday, up to daily highs of 27 to 29°C. Only in the second half of the weekend, with the influx of warmer air from the Mediterranean, will the maximum daily air temperatures begin to exceed a hot 30 degrees, which will be a prelude to a warmer next week. 

The change in weather did not significantly affect sea temperatures, so with current values ranging from 25 to 27 degrees, it's more than pleasant for swimming. As no significant weather deterioration is expected in the coming week, sea temperatures, with plenty of sunshine, will be similar or slightly higher than current values. Those who have chosen these days for their annual vacation will enjoy summer pleasures, as the biometeorological conditions will be favorable for most people.
