Čorić's Tower is a unique example of a defensive tower whose construction dates back to the year 1533, when a contract was signed for the building of a house between Hieronymus Saracenis and a stonemason named Ivan from Hvar. The coat of arms on the eastern wall of the tower bears the initials H S, which are associated with the name Hieronymus Saracenis. The tower later changed owners, and it is known that in the 17th century it belonged to the noble Fondra family from Šibenik, who renovated the building for residential use.
